Placement Opportunities for Internships 2023
Shocks & Stars Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. an aerospace research and development company, registered with SECP Islamabad, specializing in aeromechanical and space systems designs.
In continuation of our ongoing research works, our company is offering placement opportunities for internships to five students of the Engineering discipline as per the following requirements:
- 1x Aero-Mechanical Intern with skills in Computational Flud Dynamics (CFD). Preferred software is ANSYS, COMSOL, and ICEPAK. The work description includes performing ThermoFluid simulations.
- 1x Aero-Mechanical Intern with skills in CAD modeling (2D & 3D) along with CFD simulations (Fluent/CFX)
- 1x Aero-Mechanical Intern with skills in MATLAB programming to work on Electric Arc Thrusters
- 1x Mechatronics Intern with expertise in Arduino buildup, SIMULINK (MATLAB), and LABVIEW. The job description includes the design and development of a robotic manipulator.
- 1x Projects Manager Intern to manage space projects for the NICAT site setup. The job description includes the setup of the facility and preparation of the project plan.
The total duration of this internship will be ten to twelve weeks, w.e.f. from 20th June 2023. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, 19th May 2023 after Jummah Prayers at 2:00 pm.
Experience certificates will be awarded upon successful completion of the internship. Those performing well may also be offered a one-year contract to work at our company as a full-time employee.
